Experience
My experience with applying learning theory and technology goes back to 2013 as a Library Service and Technology Guide. For nine years in that role, my primary responsibility was to create learning experiences for library patrons that were not tech savvy. The classes were designed to give the user good foundation of the technology they wanted to use.
In my current role as Training Developer, I have more flexibility to go deeper with the learner in their experience. Building a course from the ground up is a welcomed challenge because I am afforded the opportunity to indulge my creative side along with the use of technology to allow the learner to have a positive experience.
